Not all pool chemicals are created equal — and not all are safe to swim in right away. At Havana Pools & Outdoors, we break it down for you so you can dive in with confidence:

🧪 For most chemicals, a 20–30 minute wait is all you need. But here are a few that need extra time (or caution):

⚠️ Shock – Wait at least 8 hours (and test chlorine levels first)
⚠️ Muriatic Acid – Wait 30–60 minutes, and circulate thoroughly
⚠️ Calcium Hardness Increaser – Wait 2–4 hours
⚠️ Flocculant (Fast Floc) – Do not swim until it’s fully vacuumed out
⚠️ Chlorine Tablets/Granules/Liquid – Wait until chlorine is at safe levels (1–3 PPM)
